The Marriage Preparation Course is a five-part course aimed helping engaged couples to build the best possible start for their marriage. The Course is an initiative of the Alpha Christian group and is based on strong Christian principles, although you do not have to be getting married in a church to come to and benefit from the course.
The Course offer a fantastic atmosphere where you will sit with two other engaged couples and a married support couple who will be your hosts for the evening. Together you will enjoy a meal and talk. At no point during the course will you be expected to disclose anything personal about your relationship with anyone else.
The Course is centred around practical talks either given live by someone there or played on DVD. They include filmed clips of successfully married couples talking about their own experiences of marriage.
