Chatham Island Taiko Trust (http://www.taiko.org.nz)An organisation involved in protecting the Chatham Island Taiko, or Magenta Petrel, one of the world's most endangered seabirds. With a total world population of around 120, the bird is found only on the Chatham Islands, 800 kilometres east of New Zealand and was believed to be extinct until its rediscovery in 1978.
