The Special Needs Library in Sydenham, Christchurch is a resource library with a lending collection of more than 3,000 educational toys and pieces of therapeutic equipment. They provide resources to people with physical, intellectual, emotional, behavioural or sensory special needs in Christchurch.
All children and adult with special needs and those who support them are welcome to become memvers of the Library.
Operating since 1977, the Library is staffed mostly by volunteers and is supported by fundraising, donations and hire fees.
