Specialising in aerial photography and film as well as inspection work using a UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle - industrial remote piloted helicopter).  Our main services are:

We also design and develop equipment and systems for camera mounts and gimbals for ground based systems and UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle).  We also provide CAD design and development. 

Our UAV helicopter is the only one in New Zealand allowing the machine to be autonomously piloted out to a range of 5km.  The machine is capable of flying in winds up to 45Km/h and has a flight duration of 40 minutes.  The auto pilot system can accurately maintain altitude and position up to 400 feet it is capable of flying higher but will require prior planning with airport authorities.

Photo Higher also manufactures a number of its own products which are remote controlled camera gimbals from our basic 2 axes system to our top end Scorpion series which has a 5 axes gimbal head.
