The purpose of the Industry Capability Network (ICN) is to help public and private sector project owners and their agents establish world-class supply chains using local industry. It does this through working with proponents to identify opportunities for local industry and nominating companies to fufill opportunities for supply into projects. The ICN maintains a database of local manufacturing and technology capability which is used to support the activities of advisors working with project opportunities. As a business unit of NZ Trade & Enterprise, ICNNZ helps build company capability through participation in the projects market. ICNNZ is also part of a network of similar ICNs across Australasia seeking to fufill supply chain opportunities in major projects in Australia, NZ and elsewhere.
