Located in the Theological Education wing on the Campus of Knox College in Dunedin, the library has one of New Zealand's largest theological collections of print material in religions and theological subjects. Their collection covers rare books, world religions, Biblical studies, church history, Christian thought, ethics, missions, pastoral studies, lay ministries and spirituality.

The Bill Robertson Library is the primary information and research centre for both the Dunedin College of Education and Otago Polytechnic.
