Penrose Regional Information

Penrose is an industrial zone located in the southeast of the Auckland city centre, between the suburbs of Oranga and Mount Wellington. It is situated near the Mangere Inlet, on the Manukau Harbour.

Penrose is the site of the Mt Smart Stadium, formerly known as Ericsson Stadium. This venue is home to the Vodafone Warriors rugby league team and the Counties Manukau Steelers rugby team. The stadium also hosts entertainment events, including the popular music festival, the Big Day Out.
