These delicious Macadamia nuts are grown in the Nuts About New Zealand orchard situated in the rolling green hills of the Kaipara region of New Zealand’s North Island. This micro-climate provides the perfect environment to produce some of the finest Macadamia nuts.

The trees are planted in rich well drained soils in this unique micro climate sheltered from the cold southerly winds. Their orchard primarily consists of two commercial varieties, Beaumont and Pa 39s. These varieties have been chosen to aid cross pollination and extend the flowering period. They are also ideally suited to New Zealand’s climate and selected for their sweet and white kernel.

During flowering times in Winter and Spring, bees are introduced to aid pollination and this delicious Macadamia blossom honey is then used for the Honey Coated Macadamia nuts.

Every nut is hand-picked at the peak of perfection and packaged onsite from August to October to preserve every ounce of flavour and freshness. After harvest the nuts are dried down to four percent, which gives them their crunchy sweet flavour.
