Your involvement in life at Kindercare is not only valued, but actively encouraged.
The Kindercare journey began in January 1972, with just 3 staff and 12 children, and has grown steadily in response to ongoing requests from parents for additional centres. Today, Kindercare has centres in Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton.
Founder and Managing Director, Glennie Oborn’s background in education and an unwavering commitment to providing parents with a service that would enable them to return to paid employment, with peace of mind that their child was in good hands, were some of the key motivators for the establishment of Kindercare’s first centre in Milford. It has also guided Kindercare’s journey of growth ever since.
