New Zealand Climate
As a country with a substantial amount of business in the tourism and agricultural industries, the New Zealand climate has a large part to play in determining the country's annual gross domestic product.
Many successful businesses in these industries have a high respect for how our country's climate can affect their business, and in turn they tend to have an above average understanding of weather patterns in their own particular region of operation.
New Zealand tends to have milder weather patterns without any particular extremes in temperature. New Zealand also sees moderately high rainfall combined with reasonable number of hours of sunshine.
As the country is long, narrow and dominated by a long line of high mountains, the sea and terrain have a large part to play in determining the country's daily weather. As the terrain can be so unique, some parts of the country can experience quite different weather patterns to others, therefore making some regions great for citrus and wine growing while other regions are perfect for winter snow sports.
