MATERIALS COST ANALYST Job Details

Due to their growth in the domestic and international market they have created a new role within their Project team for a Material Cost Analyst. The purpose of this role is to provide accurate material-cost-forecast reports and variance comparisons against budgets and, analysis of variances.  
  
Your responsibilities for this role include providing details for material baselines on contracts awarded; providing monthly updates for all key jobs; working directly with Programme Managers, Purchasing, Cost estimating, Programme Finance, Accounting and Management; provide monthly detailed material variance schedules and material estimates at completion; and provide general support to the Project Control Team supervisor.  
  
To be successful at this role you will need to have advanced Excel and excellent analytical skills; proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; excellent interpersonal skills and, highly proficient English communication skills in both verbal and written formats. A tertiary qualification in finance with knowledge of the manufacturing industry would be of great advantage.
