Software Engineer - Intermediate Job Details

Our client is an enterprise level organisation and a world leader within their specialist market. The group employs more than 2,500 people worldwide and boasts more than one million customers around the globe. Their Christchurch based research and development centre is the largest within its group, producing some the company’s most technical and sophisticated products. Accommodating more than 200 staff in Christchurch, engineers are provided a working environment specifically designed to foster innovation and engineering excellence in product and software design and development.

We are now seeking expressions of interest from intermediate level software engineers with the following skills:

* 2+ years experience working in Embedded systems design

* Network protocols and applications development

* Proficiency in GNU make and BASH scripting

* Linux OS

* Proven ability to work under pressure and meet objectives

* Proven problem solver

* Relevant tertiary qualification
