 A highly talented and motivated team of IT Professionals are looking after their e-learning solution and the end user’s needs and provide operational support as well as on-going systems expansion across the business areas.

 Requirements are for an experienced Systems Analyst / Analyst Programmer with strong business focus and background, who relates well to the people at the coal face.  An appreciation of e-learning software development projects and interfaces is not a pre-requisite but of definite advantage.

 This is a fixed term, full time appointment until June 2010 with possible extension offered thereafter.

 Ideally you will have worked with LAMP tools and programs such as Linux, Apache, MySQL/mSQL and Perl/PHP/Python however, if you have any of the following you may well be suited to this position. 

 Ideal Experience 

Sound industry experience directly related to the development and support of Intranet and / or e-learning management systems in LAMP or comparable areas, including software analysis, design and development. 

Ideal Attributes and Skills: 

1.        Proven ability to program in a web based development environment such as php/mysql or similar. 

2.        Ability to administer Linux / Apache based web servers. 

3.        Ability to manage the development of software through all the stages of the software development cycle. 

4.        Ability to analyse complex or ill-defined problems to provide clear options and solutions 

5.        Ability to provide concise and comprehensible explanations of technical matters to both technical and non-technical people, both verbally and in writing. 

6.        Ability to work cooperatively with others, creating and keeping to work plans and priorities.
