Senior Civil Engineer, Wellington Job Details

Our client is a global civil engineering company, involved in a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects and programmes.  Poised for further growth, they are now seeking a senior engineer to join their existing team in the Wellington area. 

As the incumbent of this role, your responsibilities will focus on the management, design and delivery of civil projects, including feasibility studies. 

Experience in the following areas is required:  

• Land development. 
• Road, drainage and subdivision design. 
• Construction supervision and administration. 
• Project management. 
• Report writing. 
• Overseeing design projects. 
• Financial and budget management. 
• Leading teams of junior engineers. 
• Client liaison. 

The intention is to develop this role to one in which the leadership of teams will become the primary focus, and where assisting with the on-going growth of the company is a major part of the remit.  As such it offers the opportunity to become a key member of the senior management team.
