Our Client is an International Engineering Manufacturing Company based in Mount Eden. They are leading suppliers of simulators and instrumented Combat Training systems for Defence forces around the world, including Navy, Army, Airforce as well as Police. They are now seeking a Senior Level ENGINEEERING Systems Engineer to join their team of four. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate which involves travel.
For this role your responsibilities will include:

• Performing Engineering system required analysis and develop system and subsystem specifications and interface specifications.
• Preparing design and operational documentation.
• Planning and performing system subsystem integration, testing and system validation.
• Participating in writing new business proposals, and preparing associated cost rationale.
• Interfacing with Quality Assurance to ensure applications are of quality standards.
• Prepared to have current hands on work experience

Qualifications and knowledge required for this position:

• A Tertiary qualification in System Engineering or Electrical Engineering within a manufacturing environment, plus 5yrs experience.
• To be proficient in MS Office Software, including MS Project.
• The ability to work under pressure in a variety of situations at anyone time.
• Be able to travel as required to customers' premises and field sites.
• Experienced in creating, analysis, documentation and testing systems and subsystem designs.
• To have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
