LOTTO, POWERBALL AND STRIKE
New Zealand Lotto is a million dollar game that’s simple to play! As the favourite lottery game of New Zealanders, NZ Lotto gives you the chance to become an overnight millionaire every single week. Choose your lotto numbers carefully (or take your chances on a Lucky Dip lotto ticket!) and watch the Lotto draw on Saturday night on TV2 to see if you’re a winner, or find Lotto results online. As well as the first division Lotto prize, there are many other cash prizes to be won. Plus, every lottery ticket goes into the draw to spin the Lotto Winning Wheel – to win a million dollars!
How to play Lotto
In every Lotto draw, six numbers and one bonus number are drawn randomly from a barrel of balls numbered 1 to 40. Match as many numbers as you can from those drawn, and you can be a winner. If your ticket has all six of the main numbers drawn, you’ve won First Division, but you can be a Lotto winner with as few as three numbers. To be in to win:

Lotto Strike
Another way to win with Lotto is to play Strike – choose four numbers and if they are the first numbers drawn on Saturday night, you’ll be a Lotto Strike winner! Add a Strike ticket to your self-selected or Easy Dip Lotto ticket. The jackpot for Strike can build for up to nine weeks; if there isn’t a winner in the 10th week, the jackpot is divided amongst the next Division down in which there are winners.
