Guidelines For Article Creation

• A meaningful title, which clearly identifies the subject of the article
• Sub-titles, which break the page into 'mini' topics
• Short paragraphs, each focusing on one idea
• Clear, informative copy
• Use of bold text
• Short to mid-length sentences
• Bulleted and numbered lists

When you write and submit your article, think about who will be reading your article, (not just the editors at NZS.com). We suggest thinking about how you will:

• Appeal to your target market
• Provide useful and valuable information
• Engage your customer or reader

What to Include in Your Article Submission

You will need to include the following information with each article submission:

• Article Title: Short and descriptive.
• Article Summary: 30-50 word on what your article discusses
• Article Length: Article length should be between 700 and 1000 words.

Formatting Your Article

• Please write your article copy in the form of a Microsoft Word document or equivalent text document.
• You can add sub-titles, bold and italicised text, bullet points and numbered lists.
• It is your responsibility to check for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.
