- Highlanders lost to the Brumbies; 31-33
- W Force lost to the Blues; 19-25
- Lions beat the Cheetahs; 34-28
- Crusaders beat the Chiefs; 19-13
- Hurricanes lost to the Waratahs; 22-26
- Stormers lost to the Sharks; 15-20
- Bulls beat the Reds; 33-20
