It would be a real hassle to seek out, on every item, the country of origin. Better, I believe, to make a point of asking the shop to clearly mark NZ Made products. In fact if enough people contacted The Warehouse, Farmers and other leading department stores, we might persuade them to have a special sticker on all our own products. We NEED to support local industries, especially now. It’s an excellent idea, in these fragile economic times, to buy things made in New Zealand – but how do we know?
