Since Nielsen//Netratings started tracking NZS.com it has consistently been ranked in their top 50 highest traffic New Zealand Web sites over all categories. NZS.com has also consistently been ranked the highest traffic site in the Search category.
Nielsen//Netratings was chosen by the Online Publishing Group (the OPG includes the likes of Xtra, Stuff, Vodafone, the New Zealand Herald and IDG) to provide independent, accurate, verifiable information about New Zealand Web traffic statistics.
Methodology
Nielsen//Netratings add a piece of code to each page of the Web sites that they track. This JavaScript records the number of visitors to the site, and their movements.
